This multi-media resource kit summarizes current research in language and literacy learning in the early years, acknowledges the key role child care practitioners play in fostering language and literacy skills in children ages 0-6 and provides practical tools to support them in this role. This program was created through the Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network and has been distributed by the Canadian Child Care Federation.
