At STELLA Power Yoga, we strongly believe that happy parents raise happy babies! Baby &Me Yoga is not only a program to regain strength and flexibility for parents with little ones from 3-12 months. Through the 6-week program, you will learn to be more aware and in tune with your well being, spend bounding time with your baby and connect with other new parents. You will learn tool to shift your mindset to be able to show up as the parent YOU want to be. We will make sure you leave the classes feeling empowered and rejuvenated.

Are you a new parent? Is this baby number two or three? Are you looking for a program to meet other parents in your community, engage in activities and embrace the time with your infant? In this parent led, hands on program parents will learn about their infant’s growth and development with Janina, Family Support Educator. Each week participants will engage in creating keepsakes of this special time you and baby have together. In this program we invite curiosity and conversations as it will be tailored specifically to the group of families to ensure you feel supported in your role as a parent.

This interactive music program is designed to strengthen your baby’s listening skills, encourages adult and child bonding, while helping your baby to develop a sense of rhythm and beat through different musical experiences. Rock a Bye Babies introduces a variety of different music genres, playful musical activities using a variety of play props, creative movement, dancing, songs, and rhymes. Each session is different and unique, so we encourage you to register for the program more than once!

Babies learn best by using all their senses. This program gives babies time and space to explore a variety of sensory experiences that are age appropriate and help to strengthen babies’ understanding of their world. By encouraging babies to express themselves this stimulates further brain development, language and independence. There is also a special keepsake of your baby’s first finger painting for you to take home.

Let’s explore the world of art! This program introduces your child to a variety of different painting techniques, art mediums (such as clay, collage, pastels), and much more. All materials used in the program are safe, nontoxic and age appropriate. Adding to the art experience children will explore music through play props, singing and dance. You and your child will be inspired by the “arts” all while engaging and spending quality time together. This is a small private class.

In this youngest age group, the basics of sport are taught in a fun and constantly moving environment. Skills such as kicking, tossing, bouncing, running, hopping, balancing and jumping. This class is completely play oriented through games, skills and obstacles. Children work at their own pace and developmental level alongside their parent, while in a group setting.

Join us for weekly theme stories complemented by preparing a yummy recipe. Together we will summarize each book, followed by a related activity, experiment or art project and a cooking activity! Introducing Soccer Shots, an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development and a Curricula aligned to the Ontario Early Learning Skills.
Soccer Shots is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.
The basis of the program is to introduce children to soccer in a fun and exciting way. This program offers an introduction to soccer and movement with an emphasis on balance, coordination and confidence. Repetition, high energy and celebrating achievements are critical to the program, therefore you will see a repeated theme throughout the season, as well as repetition of character works for several weeks.

A series of 4 art classes run by an ACT artist, designed for children and their caregiver to share in creative art making, while working on their own pieces of art. This experience allows both adults and children to freely explore paint, drawing and other art media in a studio setting. Come and experience connection through meaningful art making, together.
During the last 15 Minutes of the last class, children and families will enjoy a showcase celebration of the art pieces created over the time in program.

In this age group children are challenged more both physically and mentally. This level is suitable for all skill levels and welcomes beginners. Children are encouraged to grow on fundamental sport skills such as running, jumping, hopping, balancing, coordination, throwing and obstacles. More sport-specific games are introduced.
This class does require parent participation at the beginning of the program, but it is optional after week #4 for children wanting to try the class without a parent. Parents must remain in the room and close-by (main lobby) in case a child changes his/her mind about wanting a parent involved.

Kids Konnection is a small group setting with children aged 3 to 5 years (without their parents). Children will participate in a variety of activities, such as language through songs and stories, art, sensory play, and active play while socializing with other children, and practicing basic routines that will help to prepare them for kindergarten. The Registered ECE engages the children, taking into consideration individual personalities, learning styles and interests of each child. This program also offers the child an opportunity to practice emotional self-regulation as they transition into being left on their own without the parent/caregiver.

Come and explore simple math activities with your child in this interactive program.
