Bronte Street School
Bronte Street School is located within our main MCRC building in Milton, which is in a convenient location to support parents, caregivers and the community. We offer a full time child care program for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Currently, we have three toddler rooms and three preschool rooms. Our curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, and our educators strive to incorporate the principles of this child directed, play based curriculum into our programs.

MCRC provides a quality nutritional food program to ensure that children have the proper fuel for a fun day of learning and care. Meals are prepared on site and our cooks are “Food Handler” certified to ensure that all health and safety regulations are maintained. Menus are planned and developed following Canada’s Food Guide as well as local Public Health department guidelines.
Our Cooks provide home-cooked meals from “scratch” using quality ingredients; fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, meat and fish. Pre-prepared processed foods are avoided and all of our locations strive to be “peanut free zones”. We are able to meet dietary restrictions due to allergy and or religious requirements and when there are severe food restrictions, we meet with the parents to discuss the specific needs.
The meals prepared are child friendly and multi-cultural in nature and follow a 4 week rotation. To ensure the use of fresh, local ingredients where possible, our menus change seasonally for the fall/winter months and the spring/summer months.
