Pilates Difference - Mom & Baby Pilates

Pilates is a gentle form of exercise that can be incredibly beneficial for postpartum recovery. In a Pilates Mom and Baby class, moms will learn exercises that can help them regain core strength, improve posture and alleviate common postpartum aches and pains. Pilates Mom and Baby classes offer a unique opportunity for new moms to exercise in a safe, supportive environment while bonding with your baby. Facilitated by Zhanna Strilets - STOTT Pilates Instructor, FST Practitioner.

This session focuses on building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness through playful poses and interactive activities. On My Way: Kindergarten Ready Program

Children will participate in a variety of activities, such as learning songs and stories, art, sensory play, and active play, while socializing with other children. Children will also be encouraged to practice basic classroom routines that will help prepare them for kindergarten. The Educator engages with the children, taking into consideration individual personalities, learning styles and interests of each child. This program also offers the child an opportunity to practice emotional self-regulation as they transition into being left on their own without the parent/caregiver.
*Children attend without a parent.

Arabic Learning Fun

Discover a fun Arabic learning experience for your little one with our Arabic Learning Fun program! Our program ensures engaging and effective learning and introduces both Levantine conversational Arabic (اللَّهجة العامية) and Modern Standard Arabic (العربية الفصحى). Each week, children will explore a theme, focus on weekly vocabulary, and create a craft to take home. Adults will also learn how to support their child’s language learning at home!

Are your children looking to help with cooking more but don’t know their way around the kitchen then this program is perfect to help them to gain the confidence to prepare meals through an exciting fun filled opportunity to make delicious recipes. Together we will choose the recipes and explore the materials using our senses by handling, measuring, pouring, mixing, cooking, and baking. At the end of the session, each child will leave with a recipe book including all the recipes prepared over the 6-week program.

Join us for weekly theme stories complemented by preparing an age-appropriate recipe. Together we will adventure into stories, activities, recipe preparation and cooking a healthy snack to enjoy together. Each family will leave with a recipe book of all the delicious recipes prepared over the 6-week program.

 

Swords & Stunts:
Behind the Scenes of Movie Fight Choreography

Age: 8-12 Years
Details: Saturdays 9:30-10:30 AM

In our Swords & Stunts Experience, presented by Knight School Inc., participants will learn the behind-the-scenes of "movie magic", learning a basic system of stage combat! In this class students will learn strikes and blocks used in professionally choreographed sword fights such as those seen on TV, in Hollywood movies, and during live stage performances! Working in pairs and in unison as an organized group, participants will work as a team to hone unique stunt skills, bonding in a fun and exciting new way. Class participants will learn the same moves they have seen in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Last Samurai, etc. Movies will never be the same! Our "swords" are props, which are plastic-core and foam coated for safety. This program is taught by industry experts with the winner of History Channel's "Full Metal Jousting" and one of the world's only female full contact jousters leading the class. Our goal as always is empowering our students through inclusive, interactive educational experiences, helping them to see themselves as the hero of their own story.

Young Engineers Learn to Play Chess

Young Engineers LEGO Build (Bricks Challenge and Galileo)

Young Engineers will learn the principles of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). By integrating basic arithmetic learned in school with an intuitive active learning process, children grasp a better understanding of the fundamentals of physics and engineering concepts while building with motorized LEGO models.

Young Engineers LEGO Build & Coding (Robo Bricks)

Using LEGO and Lego WeDo graphic programming to build robots. Robo Bricks enrichment program participants learn software engineering, technology, entrepreneurship and math (STEM). During each lesson students will assemble a robot that will perform a predetermined task. Constructing these robots will develop each student's ability to create computer algorithms and capability to implement code.
