Get Involved
Volunteer help is welcome in MCRC’s programs, at special events and on the board of directors and its committees. Volunteers are screened and matched with a volunteer position that interests them and that meets with their available time.
Members of the general public who volunteer with Milton Community Resource Centre are asked to provide three personal references, a police security clearance (including vulnerable sector screening) and a Children’s Aid check as part of our volunteer application process.
MCRC has volunteer positions suitable for all ages. If you are interested in volunteering with children, you must be a minimum of two years older than the oldest child you are helping to supervise. In order to be eligible to volunteer without your parent or guardian present, you must be in grade 8 or older.
Volunteers working with children, will be required to attend an orientation and observation training session prior to starting as a volunteer.
