Conservation Halton Hike
This program requires registration. EarlyON is excited to begin this new program with support from Conservation Halton. Join Tanya, our outdoor expert, on a weekly hike through one of the nearby Conservation Halton parks. Please note: As this is a guided walk, please arrive promptly at 2:00. Any latecomers may not have their admission covered. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to walk through nature. Children under 5 do not need to register as they can enter for free.
September's Hike will take place at Rattlesnake point. We will meet at the LOWER parking lot, by gazebo 7, then head out on the Buffalo Crag Side trail (yellow marker). This trail is carrier and stroller friendly, with beautiful views overlooking west Milton farm lands below. The trail is set back from the cliff edges with small access trails to look out areas. It is approximately 3km and ends back at the gazebo area for you to have a quick snack and refuel after your hard work.
