Summer Camp

Join Artists and Children Together for a summer of creating different types of Art for a variety of age groups and learning techniques through fun and engaging art activities using high quality materials with an ACT Artist in our beautiful studio setting.
The programs will run Tuesday to Thursday each week from 9am to 12 pm for $125 each week.

Important reminder: Participants will need to bring their own nut free snacks and a reusable water bottle.

Week 1 - Introduction to Watercolour Painting

With an artist, learn the basics of watercolour painting in a small group setting in our ACT Art Studio. You will learn about the principles of setting up a painting, some drawing, different techniques, uses of high-quality watercolour tools and paint.

Week 2 - Introduction to Painting

With an artist, learn the basics of painting in a small group setting in our ACT Art Studio. You will learn about the principles of setting up a painting, some drawing, different techniques, uses of high-quality painting tools and paint through fun drawing and painting activities

Week 3 - Drawing & Sketching

Join us in exploring sketching and drawing with graphite pencils, charcoal and fineliners as effective tools for communicating thoughts, visual pictures and words.

Week 4 - Sustainable Art

Age: 6 - 10 years old
Cost: $125 (supplies included)

Learning about ways in which Artists can have a positive impact on our environment as stewards of the earth. Using loose parts and natural raw elements to create a sustainable environment with art.

Week 5 - Let's Cook With Art

Dates: July 29th - 31st
Time: 
9am - 12pm
Age: 6 - 10 years old
Cost: $125 (supplies included)
Location: 410 Bronte Street S, Milton - Art Studio

Children will be exploring the concepts of creating colours using natural dyes found in food. We will have opportunities to engage in the culinary arts of bread making, fresh vegetable and fruit portraits, creating focaccia art landscapes and more!

Week 6 - Sustainable Art
