Camp Wonder Woods
MCRC's Camp Wonder Woods, believes your child's summer camp experience should create memories that last a lifetime, is full of fun and adventure, the great outdoors and 0 technology! A place for your child to let loose, make new friends, and try new things. Our summer camp is on the beautiful grounds of Hitherfield Private School nestled between Brookville and Campbellville on a 110 acres of land including a large forest area and pond. Our camp counselors are dedicated to providing that "old school" experience for campers. Whether your child is quiet and shy or full of energy, we will have something for everyone.
Important reminder: Participants will need to bring their own nut free snacks, lunch and a reusable water bottle.
Week 1 - The Great Outdoors
Dates: July 2nd - 4th (3 days)

Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

A week focused on exploring the great outdoors and all the amazing wonders of nature. We will learn about survival techniques, the joy of camping, living things and the beautiful country of Canada.
Week 2 - Engineering Explorers
Dates: July 7th - 11th
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

The mind of a child is always turning just like an engineer’s. We will tap into that constructive imagination by building, LEGO, coding, and investigating structures. To engage children’s curiosity and imagination we will explore the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to unlock their engineering potential
Week 3 - Wildlife Encounters
Dates: July 14th - 18th
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

From learning how to safely move a turtle across the road to the importance of butterflies and bumblebees, your child will learn how to have a positive impact on the earth and the living things around it.
Week 4 - Let's Cook
Dates: July 21st - 25th
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

Ignite your child’s passion for cooking and watch their culinary skills soar! Your child will participate in a different recipe everyday while learning the importance of farming and growing our food in sustainable ways.
Week 5 - Creative Connections
Dates: July 28th - August 1st
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

Art is all around us so let the creations flow. Together we will look at art in its natural, musical, creative, and perceived forms and how it can influence our lives and everything around us. Appreciate and discover the unique creativity you were born with. The week will end with a children’s performance or art gallery.
Week 6 - Superhero Training Academy
Dates: August 5th - 8th (4 days)
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

Superheroes endure generation after generation. With that said, there would be no need for superheroes without some top-notch villains to keep on their toes. Have your child train to be a superhero in their lives and unless their super creativity to save the day.
Week 7 - Camp Carnival
Dates: August 11th - 15th
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

Step right up for a week of carnival excitement. From obstacle courses to face painting, and potato sack races to carnival games, this week promises non-stop fun and laughter.
Week 8 - Party Week
Dates: August 18th - 22nd
Time: 8am - 5pm
Age: 4 - 6 years old & 7 - 12 years old

As the summer ends it’s not a time to be sad but to party. Each day there will be a party that will fit a different theme from Luau to Mardi Gras or a backyard party to a Birthday party. Each day is sure to be blast of fun activities, dress up and party treats.
