Art Therapy: Expressions in Art

Support your child’s emotional well-being through creativity in this engaging 8 session art therapy group. Guided by a supervised art therapy facilitator, participants will explore painting, drawing, and mixed media activities designed to build self-awareness, confidence, and emotional regulation. Through hands-on art experiences and gentle reflection, children will develop coping skills, strengthen empathy, and build positive connections with peers in a safe and supportive environment. Each session encourages self-expression, resilience, and a sense of belonging—helping children grow both creatively and emotionally.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create a stunning autumn- inspired greeting card featuring swirling paper designs, colourful leaves, pumpkins, and seasonal accents. As you roll, shape, and create, enjoy a cozy atmosphere centered on creativity, mindfulness, and gratitude. Leave with a one-of-a-kind handmade card that’s perfect for gifting or displaying as a heartfelt reminder of the season. Warm apple cider and light snacks will be provided. No experience necessary, and all materials are included.

Each week features a new STE(A)M-inspired project designed to spark curiosity, build creativity, and encourage learning through play. Participants will take home unique creations while exploring the fascinating connections between science and art!

Join our Beginner's Crochet Class and learn the art of crochet from the ground up! This class is perfect for those who have never picked up a crochet hook before or need a refresher on the basics. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn: How to hold a crochet hook and yarn, Basic stitches like chain, single crochet, and double crochet, How to read simple crochet patterns, Tips for keeping even tension and troubleshooting mistakes. By the end of the class, you'll have completed a small project, such as a coaster or a simple scarf! All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed. Come relax, have fun, and unleash your creativity with crochet!

Join our Basic Sewing Class and discover the joy of creating your own garments or home decor items! This beginner-friendly course is designed for those with little to no sewing experience. You'll learn the fundamental skills needed to start your sewing journey, including: Introduction to Sewing Machines, Fabric Selection and Cutting, Reading Patterns and Hand Sewing Techniques including Basic Hand Stitches, Sewing Buttons and Fasteners, and Hands-On Projects where you'll create your own projects with a special focus on sustainable designs!
