Sew Much Fun:
Beginner Quilting Class
Dates: November 11 - December 16 (6 sessions - Tuesdays)

This beginner-friendly quilting class is perfect for teens and adults who want to learn the basics of quilting in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you are brand new to sewing or just curious about quilting, this class will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your very own rag quilt. A perfect to keep or gift. All materials are provided, and these classes are open to anyone aged 13 and up with no prior sewing experience needed!

Participants in this Ukulele Program will have the opportunity for beginners to learn and build techniques in chords and to play simple songs. With a small group setting of 3 participants, children will have the opportunity to explore, learn and collaborate with their ukulele teacher and one another in a friendly and social setting. Up to 3 Participants and 1 Ukulele Teacher in each session. Ukuleles will be available for participants use during sessions but not to take home.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore, learn and collaborate with one another using art materials, and engaging in alternate ways of sharing their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a friendly and social setting in ACT’s art studio. This will allow for exploration of self-expression, mindfulness and social connection throughout their time in the program with an ACT Artist using art as a language.
