Equity Audit of MCRC Child Care Programs
Background
MCRC is pleased to be undertaking an Equity Audit of its child care programs as part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, welcoming, and inclusive services for all children and families.
As our community continues to grow and become more diverse, we want to ensure our programs, policies, and practices reflect the needs and experiences of the children and families we serve.
Turner Consulting Group Inc., an independent consulting firm with extensive experience conducting Equity Audits and equity, diversity, and inclusion assessments, has been engaged to lead this work. The Equity Audit will include a review of MCRC's child care policies and practices, as well as confidential consultations with staff and families. Supervisors and managers will also be invited to participate in confidential one-on-one interviews.
Staff Consultations
The experiences and perspectives of staff are essential to the success of this Equity Audit. Your insights will help identify MCRC's strengths, highlight opportunities for improvement, and inform recommendations to ensure our child care programs continue to provide equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environments for children and families.
Participation is completely voluntary. All survey responses and focus group discussions will be kept confidential, and the names of participants will not be shared with MCRC. Individual comments will not be attributed to any participant in the final report.

- August 13
- August 20
- August 25
